Russell explains "When I have a memory of my favorite town, I reminisce about my favorite building, skyline, or event. Seeing the old French Quarter when visiting downtown I don't think about the traffic; I think about the people, the shops, the artists, the atmosphere!__ This series of paintings came from photographs I took outside my old gallery on Royal Street. A few of them are from walking around the city with my daughter too. If you're ever in town you can visit the originals in the St. James Hotel lobby.__

Each canvas giclee is printed using archival inks, stretched on the best quality wooden strips, hand embellished by the artist, then coated with a UV protective high gloss. The final product looks like an original, but you are only paying the price of a print. They are numbered on the back, so we can keep that our little secret. They are signed and numbered in an edition size of only 75 to 400. Another advantage is that framing is optional.
